At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel elements from a batch of EDF 1300 MWe fuel continued in the R1 head-end facility. A total of 837 metric tons of uranium have been sheared to date this year.

At the R7 vitrification facility, all three lines are in operation. 10 canisters of glass were produced this week. A total of 230 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

At the UP3 plant, shearing of fuel elements from HAMAOKA* continued in the T1 head-end facility. A total of 685 metric tons of uranium have been sheared to date this year.

At the T7 vitrification facility, lines A, B and C are on stand-by. A total of 358 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.


Work in the Moulinets Cove

Work continues on modifications to the discharge pipe in the tidal basin:

- radiological monitoring of sediments has revealed no anomalies, although there are fluctuations close to the old discharge pipe;
- unfavorable meteorological conditions prevented completion of the underwater excavation phase.
