One cask of spent fuel from Gösgen nuclear power plant arrived at the Valognes railway terminal serving COGEMA La Hague on September 15th, 2004, at 9.32 am.
The fuel elements shall be stored at the COGEMA La Hague pools for cooling, and will be then reprocessed to recover valuable materials and condition the final waste for return to Switzerland for disposal.
