2/13/2008
Press release
AREVA, official partner of the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games AREVA and the FFH (French sports federation for the disabled) have signed a partnership agreement to develop sporting activities for the disabled.

The partnership is in keeping with AREVA's commitment to hire disabled workers in France following the agreement signed by the group in May 2007.

AREVA will support disabled French teams as they prepare for the next Paralympics in Beijing. As official partner, the group will provide financial support to the 250-strong French delegation, of which 170 are athletes.

Activities will be organized on the group's French sites throughout the year and during the games so that AREVA employees can follow the results and share a different view on disability.
