Jacques Gerault is appointed Senior Executive Vice President, Public Affairs. He reports to Luc Oursel, President and Chief Executive Officer of AREVA.

Cécile Maisonneuve is appointed Deputy Senior Vice President, Public Affairs, in charge of European and International Affairs.

Both appointments are effective since October 10, 2011.

Jacques Gérault is an alumnus of the École nationale d'administration and auditor of the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale. He has many years of experience in the French prefectorial administration in departments of France such as Gironde, Charente, Oise and, recently, in the Rhône-Alps region, where he acted as regional prefect from 2007 to 2010.

Jacques Gérault also directed the cabinet staff of several French ministries, including the Ministry of French Overseas Departments and Territories (1987), the Ministry of the Interior (2005-2007) and the Ministry of Defense, where he directed the civilian and military staff starting in 2010.

Effective October 10th, 2011, Jacques Gerault is Senior Executive Vice President, Public Affairs and a member of the AREVA Executive Management Board.

Cécile Maisonneuve, a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure and the Institut d’Études politiques de Paris, began her career in 1997 in the French National Assembly as a staffer (administrateur des services de l’Assemblée Nationale), serving successively in the Defense Committee, the Law Committee, and in the Foreign Affairs Committee.

She joined AREVA in 2007 in charge of the international meetings of the CEO. Since 2009, as a vice-President, International Agenda and Prospective, she is also in charge of advocacy strategy to international non-governmental organizations. Cécile Maisonneuve was Chargée de mission to the Chief Executive Officer since July 2011.

In October 2011, Cécile Maisonneuve is appointed Deputy Senior Vice President, Public Affairs, in charge of European and International Affairs.
