In the early morning failure was detected on the valve of a tank of hydrofluoric acid during a transfer operation inside the COMURHEX plant .
A slight leak was detected by security systems while the tank was in handling pressure and was automatically suspended.
Operations permutation valve were performed in the afternoon to allow the subsequent transfer of the contents of the tank safely.
The safety authority has been informed of this minor incident which has had no impact on personnel and the environment.

Its main activity is the conversion of uranium into uranium hexafluoride (UF6) that is essential for enrichment processes for the production of nuclear fuel.
