Anomaly detected during a transfer operation

In the early morning failure was detected on the valve of a tank of hydrofluoric acid during a transfer operation inside the COMURHEX plant .

A slight leak was detected by security systems while the tank was in handling pressure and was automatically suspended.

Operations permutation valve were performed in the afternoon to allow the subsequent transfer of the contents of the tank safely.

The safety authority has been informed of this minor incident which has had no impact on personnel and the environment.
