On November 13, AREVA won the prize for best Annual Report at the 2006 Ujjef Awards edition. Ujjef is the French union of journalists and company newspapers, known as "Communication et Enterprise" since June 2003.

The 2005 Activity and Sustainable Development Report was a flagship document both for internal and external targets of the group and was selected from a shortlist of 16 in its category from almost 200 applications received by the interprofessional jury.

AREVA's annual report, with its daring title Our energies have a future. A future without CO2, "fantastic iconography and original color scheme, managed to avoid all the pitfalls in its category", commented the jury during the award ceremony.

Furthermore, emphasis was given to the rich content of the report: "AREVA used an original magazine-type approach to tackle the various societal issues faced by the group."

The jury summed up by saying "The document offers many interesting features including a very practical 'at a glance' page for people who don't have enough time to read the entire report."

Michel-Hubert Jamard, Vice President, Communications at AREVA, says "the jury's tribute is all the more appreciated as it basically sums up the specifications put together jointly by the Corporate Communications, Financial Communications and Sustainable Development & Continuous Improvement Departments."
