PMC, a COGEMA subsidiary, receives 2002 "Mining Reclamation and Wildlife Stewardship"

Pathfinder Mines Corporation (PMC), a wholly owned COGEMA subsidiary in the USA, received the "Mining Reclamation and Wildlife Stewardship" award at the Wyoming Game & Fish Department's Heritage Expo (WG&FDHE). The award honors the most outstanding local initiative for the conservation of natural resources. The prize-winning project was at West Gas Hills, which is part of the Lucky Mc Mine reclamation. Presenting the award, Dr. Tom Thorne, director of the WG&FDHE, emphasied on the exceptional effort to protect wildlife the company had made during the reclamation work.
