UP2 plant :
At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of 900 MWe EDF fuel is in progress in the R1 head-end facility.
A total of 389 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.

At the R7 vitrification facility, lines A and B are in service. Line C is on standby.
A total of 295 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

UP3 plant :
At the UP3 plant,shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of 900 MWe EDF fuel is in progress in the T1 head-end facility.
A total of 51 metric tons of uranium have been processed to date this year.

At the T7 vitrification facility, lines A, B and C are on standby.
A total of 146 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

Transports :
On August the 30th, a shipment transporting one cask containing 12 spent fuel assemblies coming from Germany, arrived at the Valognes railway terminal.
This is the 05th shipment since the start again of transports with Germany in April.

The fuel elements will be placed in the pools at the COGEMA-La Hague plant for cooling. They will then be reprocessed to separate out the recyclable materials. The wastes will be conditioned and sent back to Germany for permanent storage.

Works in the Moulinets cove :
The works of laying out of building site in Anse des Moulinets zone, preceding the old sea discharge pipe's dismantling, are keep going on.
