The Tremplin association offers housing grants to students with financial difficulties for a room in a hostel near their high school. The AREVA Foundation has worked with Tremplin since 2010, and decided to renew and extend its support by financing 9 young people for a period of two years (2014-2016).

Offering students an appropriate working environment

Most of the students sponsored by Tremplin are in special scientific classes to prepare them for entry into a Grande Ecole of Engineering.
During these two or three years of preparing for entry exams, these students must put a lot of effort into their work, including after class. They often live far from their schools and lose a lot of time commuting back and forth, which can reduce their chances for success.

In 2015 the AREVA Foundation supported 11 students, giving them housing grants for a room near their school.

The Group’s employees get involved

Some AREVA employees are volunteering to help out these young people, giving them the advice they need, plus something that financial help does not necessarily provide: a human touch, and the confidence they need to fulfill their potential. 13 students in preparatory classes at scientific faculties or engineering schools are being sponsored by AREVA employees.
