News brief

As part of its partnership with the Musée Guimet of Asian Art, AREVA Foundation is providing support to the exhibition “Le Thé – Histoires d’une boisson millénaire”, to be held from October 3, 2012 to January 7, 2013.

Born in China, tea has become a universal, popular drink over the course of the centuries. This major exhibition opens the fall season of the Musée Guimet by telling the story of how this beverage spread across the Asian continent, how it is cultivated and used, and the commercial stakes involved.

For AREVA, a supporter of the Musée Guimet of Asian Art for ten years, the exhibition is a new opportunity to draw attention to the culture of the group’s partner countries and friends of France through a unique exploration of ancestral customs.

AREVA Foundation is also supporting the Musée Guimet’s educational programs, designed for young people with little access to culture and the associations that help them. The objective: to initiate a wider public into culture by showing the living, modern and human applications of the treasures of the past.
